A Carpathian hot tub is a cast-iron vessel with a volume of 2–3 thousand liters, where a group of 4–7 people can bathe at the same time. The bath temperature is 36–45 degrees. Thanks to the properties of cast iron, it reaches this level and is constantly maintained by a gentle fire. Special stones are laid at the bottom of the tub, so your feet won't get too hot.
At Zolota Forel, the tubs stand outdoors, which makes the wellness bathing even more unusual and pleasant during the cold season.
We use mineral hydrogen sulfide water from our own well for the tub. Its healing properties are officially certified by the Odesa Research Institute of Balneology and Medical Rehabilitation. By the way, you can also drink it — this will enhance the overall health effect.
How the Procedure Works
We recommend setting aside a few hours for the wellness bathing. First, get into a positive mindset. In the tub, relax and focus on how the water warms your body.
Once every cell is warmed up, it's time to jump into cold water. Zolota Forel is located right next to the Butyvlia river, so you can plunge right into it. The adrenaline rush from this contrast is guaranteed!
After cooling down, get back into the warm water for another minute. At this moment it feels as if thousands of spruce needles are piercing your body, and the feeling of complete relaxation will stay with you for a long time!
Next — it's time to try our signature Carpathian tea, filled with the intoxicating aroma of mountain herbs. After 15–20 minutes of tea drinking, you can dive back into the warm bath. Ideally, you should go through at least three such cycles.
